Ramesh Kumar, Sumita Poojari lead India men and women kabbadi teams

New Delhi, Aug 16 (UNI) Haryana's Ramesh Kumar and Railways Sumati Poojari will lead Indian men and women's kabbadi teams respectively in the SAF games to be held in Colombo from tomorrow.

Ramesh Kumar spearheads 12-member team bid to retain the gold medal while Poojari led 12-member Women team will make their debut in the competition. Women Kabbadi is being held in the SAF games for the first time.

The teams: Men: Ramesh Kumar (Capt), Naveen Kumar, Vikas Kumar (Ser), Dinesh, Jasmer (BSNL), Rakesh Kumar (Rly, vice Captain), Manpreet Singh(Pun), Navneet Gautam(Raj), Pankaj Shirsat, Gaurav Shetty (Mah), Manoj (BSB), Anup Kumar (Delhi).

Coach:Balwan Singh,J.Uday Kumar,Manager:Sita Ram.

Women: Sumati Poojari (Capt), Anuradha, Abhilashma Mathre(Mah), Mangla Desai(Hyd), Pooja (Delhi), R Naga Laxmi(AP), Kanchan Rane (Rly), Mamta Pujari(Kar), Shalini Pathak (Raj), Sumita Kumari (Bihar), Darshana Wakde(MP), Jagriti (Har).
