Rajiv Jyothi Yatra from Sriperumbudur to Delhi tomorrow

Bangalore, Aug 16 (UNI) The Labour Cell of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) will take out a Rajiv Jyothi Yatra from Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu, where the former Prime Minister was assassinated, to New Delhi tomorrow in memory of the inspiring leadership of the slain leader.

In a statement here today, KPCC Labour Cell Convener S S Prakasam said a contingent of 200 Congress workers would take part in the yatra, to be flagged off by KPCC President Mallikarjuna Kharge and attended by TNCC President A Krishnaswamy.

The Labour Cell generally took out such yatras from New Delhi to Sriperumbudur. After reaching New Delhi on August 19, the contingent would place the jyothi at the Rajiv Gandhi statue before being taken to the AICC office, he said.
