Pakistan rejects India's allegation of cross border terrorism
Islamabad, Aug 15 (UNI) Pakistan today rejected Indian allegations of cross-border terrorism saying it is a frontline state in the war against terror.
Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam told a press briefing here that Pakistan is committed to fighting terrorism and wants to continue the peace process with India.
''The (peace) process requires sincerity and commitment by both sides to resolve all issues that have caused conflicts, tension and distrust in the region,'' Ms Aslam said.
She said to allow terrorism to undermine this process would be very very unfortunate.
Pakistan has a long history of commitment of cooperating with the international community but this happens when there is trust in each other, she added.
Ms Aslam said Pakistan cannot cooperate with a country that is in the habit of making baseless allegations and a history of not cooperating with it.
Pakistan has not received any evidence of involvement in any terrorist act in India, she said.
