RIMS director appeals to co-operate with hospital activities

Imphal, Aug 14 (UNI) After Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh revealed that some militants were hampering the functioning of the hospitals, Director of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Prof L Fimate here appealed to the people to co-operate with the hospitals.

He also urged them not to disturb the hospital which was catering to the people of the north eastern states.

"Medical profession has no enemy or boundary," he added and assured to provide the institute the status of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

He, however, said there should be no interference in the functioning of the hospital.
