Marketing sub-committee meeting held

Chennai, Aug 14 (UNI) The BCCI Marketing Sub-Committee meeting was held here today to open the bids for the official clothing rights for non-playing days, ground banner rights and the sponsorship rights for the tri-series to be played in Malaysia and Singapore next month.

India is scheduled to the participate in the tri-series in which Australia and West Indies are the other two teams.

The bids would be opened and the sub-committee's decision would be placed before the Marketing Committee tomorrow to finalise the bidder.

Marketing Sub-committee Chairman and BCCI vice-president Lalit Modi, BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah, Treasurer N Srinivasan, joint secretary M P Pandove and vice-president Sashank Manohar attended the meeting.

Former presidents A C Muthian, I S Bindra and R S Mahendra were also present at the meeting.
