JD (U) National Executive in Delhi on Aug 26-27

New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) The Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Uttaranchal early next year are high on the agenda at a meeting of the Janata Dal (United)'s National Executive here on August 26-27.

The meeting will also discuss the political situation along with the agrarian crisis in several states and the economic and foreign policies of the UPA government, JD (U) Secretary General K C Tyagi said today.

National Executive members, party MPs, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and state presidents will be attending the meeting, he added.

Special invitees include senior party leaders from different states.
