Humidity levels increase as rains recede from Rajasthan
Jaipur, Aug 14 (UNI) Rains seemed to have weakened in Rajasthan with only a few places in Hadoti recording rains today.
The humidity levels have gone up making people suffer. The maximum temperatures also shot up at a few places with the state capital recording 36 degree Celsius. The humidity level was 97 per cent today making Jaipurites sweat endlessly.
Ajmer recorded 32 degrees, Jodhpur and Bikaner 39 degrees and Dabok 32 degrees respectively.
Didwana in Nagaur, Alsisar in Tonk, Peepaldah in Kota, Barah and Boondi in Hadoti and Khandwar in Sawaimadhopur recorded 30 mm rains today.
The weather office predicted cloudy skies with a possibility of thunder showers in the state capital.
It also warned of heavy rains in Kota and Ajmer districts. Many places in eastern Rajasthan are likely to be drenched while a few places in western Rajasthan will receive rainsfall.
