DGP asks officers to be vigilant on Aug 15

Jammu, Aug 14 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Gopal Sharma has asked police officials of all districts to be vigilant on Independence Day.

The DGP reviewed security arrangements made in connection with the Independence Day celebrations at a high level meeting which was attended by Divisional Commissioner Jammu Pramod Jain and Inspector General of Police, Jammu zone, Dr S P Vaid.

Later, the DGP also visited the districts Doda and Ramban where he held similar meetings and urged officers to ensure a smooth and peaceful Independence Day celebrations.
