Uttar Pradesh government transfer six IPS officer
Lucknow, Aug 11 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government transfered six IPS officers late tonight.
According to state Home department sources, police DIG B K Maurya is transfered from Azamgarh range to ISBF Lucknow headquarters whereas PAC sector Agra division DIG A D Mishra has been sent to Azamgarh in the same capacity.
Superintendent of Police Gyan Singh, with the state DGP's office Lucknow is transferred as Deputy Principal, Police Training College, Sitapur. Superintendent of Police M D Karndhar, at Mau is transferred as SP(HR) Lucknow.
Commandant, XI BN PAC, Ashutosh Kumar posted at Sitapur is transferred to Mau in place of Mr Karndhar, while Commandant, VIII BN PAC Sanjay Singhal posted at Bareilly is transferred as new Superintendent of Police, Raebareilly.
Meanwhile, DGP S K Rizvi has been posted as DGP (Special Investigations) Lucknow.
