Ten kg RDX seized by Army in Bhaderwah
Bhaderwah, Aug 11 (UNI) Security forces seized 10 kg RDX from Beinzla nullah near Shankhoja village, about seven km from here in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to sources, Army and police on a tip-off carried out a joint search operation in the area yesterday and recovered the RDX and Improvised Explosive Device (IED) kept in a plastic container.
One grenade was also recovered from the site.
A massive search operation has been launched in the area to nab the militants involved in storing the explosive material. The explosive was probably meant for creating disturbance on the Independence Day, sources added.
