MP Govt moots anti-terror law
Indore, Aug 12 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government is considering enacting an anti-terror legislation, whose draft is currently under preparation, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said today.
''The government is highly alert over the rising instances of terrorism in the country,'' Mr Chouhan told reporters here.
He said scrapping the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) was a wrong step.
Regarding detection of pesticide residues in cold drinks, Mr Chouhan said samples were being collected across the state and would be sent for testing.
''A ban on cold drinks is already in place in government offices and school premises,'' he said.
About objections to proposed Indore master plan, the Chief Minister said the committee concerned would hear the cases in this regard and take appropriate steps.
