Militants kill two farmers in Poonch

Jammu, Aug 12 (UNI) Militants shot dead two farmers in Surankote area of Poonch district last night, police said today.

The sons of the farmers' Bashir Khan and Sadiq Khan had allegedly participated in the army's recuirtment camp recently defying militants order, police said.

Last night the militants entered their house situated in mountanious forest at Dronga Babliyar, 12 km from Surankote police station and shot dead the farmers around 2000 hrs, police added.

However, the army spokespersaon said neither the framers's sons had participated in the army recriutment camp nor were they selected. But incharge of Surankote police station said they had participated in the camp but could not be selected.
