KSCA registers 9-wicket win over Bradman XI

Bangalore, Aug 12 (UNI) In a rain-marred match, hosts KSCA XI registered a nine-wicket victory over Bradman XI in the Fair and Lovely Menz Active Twenty20 Cricket Tournament played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium here today.

Elected to bat first, Bradman XI were restricted to 77 for four in 10.2 overs when the play was called off due to rain and the authorities set a 61-run target for KSCA XI to win when play resumed after loss of more than 60 minutes play.

The hosts scored 62 to register their second win in the Tournament. They just lost the wicket of opener Gaurav Dhiman (18).

While KSCA XI led the table in the 'A' zone with four points from two wins, Bradman XI, with one win and one loss, had two points.

Brief Scores: Bradman XI: 77 for 4 in 10.2 overs (Subhomoy Das 23, Vidyut Shivaram 19, C Raghu 1/17, C Raghavendra 1/5) lost to KSCA XI 62 for one in 4.4 overs (Bharat Chipli 20, Druvraj Patil 24, Gaurav Dhiman 18, Deepak Chougule one for seven).
