Engineering student drowned in Subarnarekha

Jamshedpur, Aug 12 (UNI) A 23-year old engineering student drowned in Subarnarekha river today while bathing with his brother at Sonari area.

Police said Jaideep Guha, who was studying in Pune, went to have a bath along with his brother but the strong current dragged the siblings in the mid stream. While the younger brother somehow managed to survive, Jaideep could not.

Police informed that a rescue team was sent to recover the body.
