Eight arrested youths sent judicial custody
Jammu, Aug 12 (UNI) A local court in Rajouri today sent to eight youth including four girls hailing from Kashmir, who were who arrested by police for ''suspicious movement'' to judicial custody.
However, the police denied media report a that laptop, video camera, video cassettes and CDS were recovered from their possession or they have sent for medical examination.
''The Police arrested the youths as they were moving in suspicious circumstance under 55/109 crpc and produced them in local court. The court ordered them to be remanded in judicial custody till their family came here'' the official, who arrested the youths, said.
The youths have been identified as Khursheed Ahmed, Abdul Hamid, Abdul Wahid, Nazir Ahmed, Rafiqa Akhtar, Razia Begum, Shamim Akhtar and Ruksana Koser.
