Dadua strikes again, kills father-son duo

Chitrakoot, Aug 12 (UNI) Tension gripped the areas of this district following the killing of a father-son duo by dreaded dacoit Dadua in Mau Gurduri village last night.

Dadua, who has become synonymous with terror in Uttar Pradesh and Madya Pradesh struck again, sending shock waves in the area.

Villagers were fleeing to safer places, reports said.

This is the third attack by the Dadua gang since the past one week.

Munnilal, a police informer, and his son Harsichandra were killed while returning to their village from Manikpur. Dadua along with about 30 dacoits ambushed them.

According to the police, both were beaten up badly before being shot dead. the dacoits managed to run away with double barrel lincenced guns of the deceased.

Mr N Ravindra, the District Suprintendent of Police, said vigilance had been increased. He said the police would take strong action in the wake of the double murder.
