Carrom team leaves for SAARC Championship

New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) Reigning National Champion D Ravinder Goud will lead the Indian team for the 10th SAARC Countries Carrom Championship scheduled from August 13 to 15 at Colombo.

The nine-time champions, who have never been beaten in the individual and men's and women's doubles event, will take on Pakistan, Sri Lnka, Maldives and Bangladesh in the tournament.

The team which left for Colombo today, was selected after a trial in Hyderabad from August 5 to 11.
