Cairn Energy to set up 'entrepreneurship' institute in Barmer

Barmer, Aug 12 (UNI) British Oil company Cairn Energy will soon set up an Entrepreneurship Development Institute in Barmer district.

Cairn Energy and International Finance Corporation (IFC) will set up the fourth such institute in the country. Spending around Rs 60 crore on it.

Sources say the other three Entrepreneurship Development Institutes are located in such places which already have flourishing businesses.

This institute in industrially backward Barmer is likely to increase entrepreneurship opportunities in the region.
