Bhattacharya is new CMO of UTI AMC

New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) UTI Mutual Funds today announced the appointment of Mr Jaideep Bhattacharya as the new Chief Marketing Officer of UTI Asset Management Company Pvt Ltd (UTI AMC).

Commenting on the appointment of Mr Bhattacharya, UTI AMC Chairman and Managing Director U K Sinha said, ''At this point of time when UTI AMC is poised to become a global player, Shri Jaideep Bhattacharya, with his experience, will help us in achieving this goal and also consolidate our position.'' UTI Mutual fund is a SEBI registered mutual fund whose Sponsors are State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda and Life Insurance Corporation of India. It has assets under management of Rs 30,958 crore and investor accounts of over 7 million under its 58 domestic schemes (as of July 31, 2006).
