Bariatric physician to participate in International Congress

Hyderabad, Aug 12 (UNI) City-based Bariatric physician V Ravindranath Reddy would participate in the Tenth International Congress on Obesity, organised by Australian Society for the Study of Obesity (ASSO), from September three to eight in Sydney, Australia.

According to a press release here, Dr Reddy, the only Indian doctor to participate in the Congress, where about 3000 delegates and 500 trade partners would take part.

The Congress would focus on Adipocyte and metabolism, brain, biological determinants of obesity, complications, management, epidemiology or prevention and continuing education.

Dr Reddy was the Managing Director of twin city's first medical centre for Obese Children Clinic 2000. This was the only medical centre treating obese with complications like sugar and heart ailments in Hyderbad and Secunderabad.
