Bank official, family injured

Tirumala, Aug 12 (UNI) Visakhapatnam Indian Overseas Bank(IOB) Deputy General Manager M N Krishna and four of his family members were injured when the jeep in which they were travelling hit the parapet wall of the Ghat Road and fell in a gorge near Alipiri here today.

Police said the bank official and his family were proceeding to here for a darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara when the mishap occurred.

One of the victims was seriously injured and admitted to the Government Ruia Hospital at Tirupati, they added.
