Bakre, Deepan lead Indian challenge in Abu Dhabi chess
Abu Dhabi, Aug 12 (UNI) Grandmaster Tejas Bakre and International Master Deepan Chakravarthy will spearhead the Indian challenge in the 16th Annual Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival which begins here later today.
In the Master section, Tejas ranks 18th with an elo point 2477, while Azerbaijan's Grandmaster, Gashimov Vugar (2644) has been seeded top.
Apart from Tajas, other Indians in this section are OT Anilkuma (2316), SP Sethuraman (2305), MR Lalith Babu (2278), Aswin Jayaram (2229) and Women International Master Nadig Kruttika (2226).
