An unsound person injured after minister's vehicle hits him

Vijayawada, Aug 12 (UNI) The vehicle in which Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Minister J C Diwakar Reddy was travelling hit an unsound person while he was crossing the road today.

The minister was on his way to inaugurate a residential school building at Veerapanenigudem in Gannavaram mandal when the incident occured.

He immediately stopped the car and asked his escort staff to admit the man to Gannavaram hospital.

The minister went to the hospital later to know the condition of the injured person and was shocked as there was no doctor to attend on him.

He asked the Joint Collector S Suresh Kumar who was with him to send a report to the government for taking action against the doctor.

Mr Reddy said the condition of the injured was stable after nurses treated him.

Later he visited the relief camps in the city and interacted with the flood victims.
