After hot and sultry days, cool and pleasant weather

Kolkata, Aug 12 (UNI) A few drizzles in the morning came up with a pleasant weather for Kolkatans today.

There was a slight rainfall early in the morning but as the hours passed it became very windy.

The Met department said the windy weather was a result of a deep depression in Orissa.

This also resulted in a slight fall in the mercury as the maximum temperature recorded today was 32 degree Celsius and minimum was 26 degree Celsius.

The relative humidity was 95 per cent. However, it did not bother much as the people enjoyed the soothing breeze.

The Met officials have forecast heavy thundershowers during the next 24 hours.
