UNITED NATIONS, Aug 11 (Reuters) - France and the United States, backed by other key UN Security Council members, reached agreement today on a draft resolution aimed at halting the bloodshed in Lebanon and Israel, British Foreign Minister Margaret Beckett said.
''We have an agreed text,'' Beckett told a small group of reporters. She said the full council would receive the draft later in hopes of a possible vote today. Beckett also hoped Israel and Lebanon would abide by it.
