Police personnel suspended due to negligence during clash

Junagadh, Gujarat, Aug 11 (UNI) A police sub-inspector was today suspended for negligence of duty during a clash between two different communities at Dari village of the district on Wednesday night.

In the clash between Dalit and Muslims one person was killed.

District Superintendent of Police B D Vaghela told UNI that after his inquiry into the incident he had found that PSI Tulsidas Dholakia had not performed his duty well as the victim Mulu Sajan had made a written complaint to the police stating that his life is in danger and demanded police protection.

But, Dholakia had ignored Mulu's plea for police protection, Mr Vaghela said.
