Movie Time to add 54 new screens across India
New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) To the ever growing race of movie theaters in and around the capital, Movie Time, a leading multiplex operator in India, added three more screens with a total of 800 seats in the North West part of the city.
The unique part of the multiplex is the first of its kind 'On Seat Service' where diverse choice of meals and snacks will be served direct on the movie goers' seat.
At the launch ceremony here last night, Movie Time Group of Theaters Chairman O P Kapoor said that this is the group's 250th and the first screen in Delhi and it has plans to open a multiplex near each Metro Station in the National Capital Region (NCR). The second multiplex is slated to open next month in Rajouri Garden.
Movie Time Group already has 34 screens in Mumbai and 200 screens in South America and Lima, Peru, under brand name 'Cine Star', he added.
''A number of similar complexes are coming up in various parts of the country including 20 in Delhi, 12 more in Mumbai, six in Bangalore and between four and six in Lucknow, Amritsar, Agra, Panipat and Karnal in the next two years,'' Mr Kapoor said.
The main foyer of the Move Time Cinemas complex will be complete with an interactive stages, Time Out games area, food court and a large function place.
The company also plans to install ATM's in various parts of Delhi for buying and booking tickets in the range of Rs 80 to Rs 150.
There is much more than the usual cinema fare at Movie Time. The menu will include a broad selection of light meals, snacks and desserts, along with a fully stocked mocktail bar featuring a selection of soft drinks, juices and coffee. The attentive and specially trained staff will be serving the food and drinks directly to cine goers seat throughout the movie, Mr Kapoor said.
