Hero Honda targets Rs 11,400 cr turnover

Vijayawada, Aug 11: Two wheeler major Hero Honda, has targeted to achieve Rs 11,400 crore turnover during the financial year 2006-2007.

Informing this at a press conference here after launching a new-state-of-the-art showroom, its 45 outlet in Andhra Pradesh, Hero Honda Motors Ltd Regional Manager N Bala Subrahmanyam said the showroom was equipped with all facilities to suit the customers.

The company was planning to introduce Compressor Natural Gas vehicles (CNG) in future, he said.

Later talking to sources, Mr Subrahmanyam said Hero Honda would set up a new plant in Uttaranchal, which would become operational by next year.
