Deccan Aviation not to announce results for Apr-Jun quarter

New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) Low cost carrier Deccan Aviation today said it will not publish its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

''The company will publish audited financial results from April 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006 on or before September 30, 2006 and accordingly will not furnish the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006,'' a company statement said.

Earlier, the company anounced that the financial year 2005-2006, April 1, 2005 to March 31, 2006 has been extended by three months and would close on June 30, 2006.

Consequently, the company's financial year 2005-2006 will be for a period of 15 months from April 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006.

The fiscal year of the company will now commence on July 1 and end on June 30.
