Bolton-'Very close' to deal on W Asia cease fire

UNITED NATIONS, Aug 11 (Reuters) US Ambassador John Bolton said today that negotiators were ''very, very close'' to an agreement on a draft resolution calling for a cease fire in more than four weeks of fighting between Israel and Lebanon's Hizbollah.

''We are now very, very close to agreement and our aspiration to have a vote at the end of the afternoon remains,'' Bolton told reporters.
