Alok Industries FY'06 net soars 22.36 pc

Mumbai, Aug 11: Alok Industries has posted a rise of 22.36 per cent net profit to Rs 109.21 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 89.25 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased by 15.84 per cent to Rs 1,425.84 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 from Rs 1,230.87 crore as compared with March 31, 2005.

Alok Industries, promoted by the Jiwrajka family of Mumbai includes in its portfolio an entire array of textile solutions covering weaving, knitting, processing, home textiles, embroidery, garmentsand texturising.
