Two gangsters, along with four others including Constable, arrested

New Delhi, Aug 10 (UNI) Claiming to have cracked down in a big way on one of the most dreaded inter-state gangs of the region police here arrested two of its members, along with four others, including a Haryana Police Head Constable.

Ravinder alias Chotti (34) and Anil Solanki alias Bittoo (31), belonging to the 'D Gang' of Dalip who hails from Badshahpur (Haryana), were arrested with four others -- HC (Proficient) Rajbir Singh alias Pappal (39), Pradeep Kumar (23), Suresh Kumar (28) and Rohtash (32) -- near Dwarka after a long chase following a tip-off, according to the police.

A Under-Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL), grenade, four pistols, 25 cartridges, seven vehicles and an equal number of mobile phones were recovered from their possession.

During interrogation they disclosed that they had been on a 'supari' killing of a Ambala-based 'Punjab Kesari' reporter.

Investigations revealed that while eight cases were against Ravinder, seven were against Solanki.
