TransCare to prepare business plan for CPT
Kochi, Aug 10 (UNI) Cochin Port Trust (CPT) has selected TransCare Logistics India Private Limited as the international consultant for preparation of a business plan for the port.
Accordinig to a CPT release, the business plan to be prepared by the consultants would state the management's long term vision for the port and the goals to be achieved over the next seven years to satisfy the vision.
Besides, the plan would identify the strategy to be followed to reach these goals, recommend a detailed plan of action for the next seven years to implement the strategy and identify the sources of financing the proposed investments.
It would also establish development priorities for the port trust, provide a roadmap for maximising the commercial potential of the port, enable management to benchmark progress in achieving goals and be updated annually to reflect evolving circumstances and developments.
TransCare Logistics India Private Limited, an Indian subsidiary of TransCare AG, Germany, would carry out the studies in association with Pharos BV, Netherlands and submit their report by November, 2006, the release said.
