Three persons washed away

Jammu, Aug 10 (UNI) Three persons were washed away in the three different incidents in Jammu region, official sources said here today.

Mohammad sultan(16), resident of Chajjar village in Poonch district, was washed away in a swollen river in Mendhar area today.

Search for his body was is going on till the reports last came in.

In another incident, one Zahir Iyaz, resident of Fazalabad, was washed away in Surn river in the district. His body was fished out from a distance later on and handed over to family after the legal formalities.

One more body was recovered from swollen Panchogal Nullah in Rajouri district today. The deceased was indentified as Shatu, a resident of Faroulu. He was missing since August three last.
