Three family members dead in house collapse

Jammu, Aug 10 (UNI) At least three members of a family died while two others were injured when their house collapsed in Goila-Kahara village in Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir early today, official sources said.

The Doda police said the house in which the family was living collapsed at around 0400 hrs due to heavy rain for the past one week.

Many other houses were also partially damaged due to rain in the area.

The deceased have been identified as saleema begum (45) her son shah Nawaz (14) and three years old daughter Razwana. Two member of the family also received injuries, sources added.
