Shia Muslims celebrate birth anniversary of Hazarat Ali

Hyderabad, Aug 10 (UNI) The Shia Muslim Community here celebrated the birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali, the son in law of prophet Muhammed yesterday. The celebrations were concluded today.

A release said, Sehra Procession was taken out from old city to Moula Ali in Malkajgiri to mark the occasion. The rally was organised by the All India Seerat-e-Zehra Committee, with over a 100 motor vehicles and motor bikes led by a prominent social activist Ali Raza passed through important roads of twin cities and reached Moula Ali in the afternoon.

The procession was received by eminent personalities at various points enroute Moula Ali by paying homage to Hazrat Ali. Community breakfasts, lunches and dinners were organised.

M A Khana, Chairman SETWIN, Mir Hyder Ali Khan, former Chairman SAAP and others participated in the celebrations.
