Rajesh maintains winning streak
Hyderabad, Aug 9 (UNI) Sub Rajesh Chaudhary of Army Yatching Nod, Mumbai kept his slate clean winning four races as he took part in the National Laser Regetta Championship being organised in Hussainsagar Lake here today.
Winds blowing at 12 to 18 knots did not bother Sub Rajesh Chaudhary, who won both the races hands-down leading from the start.
In the fourth race wind variation was more, but Rajesh managed to stay ahead of his rivals.
Sixteen year old boy and Cadet of National Defence Academy Naveen Shirodkar won all the six races in Laser 4.7, and came closer to clinch the title. He is likely to be picked for the Asian Games probables in the coming months as India is sending one entry in this class for the first time.

Sixth Race: 1 Navin Shirodkar (47.41), 2 Alekhya (54.45), 3 Mrinalini (55.50). Mistral 3rd Race: 1 Ghanshyam (27.23), 2 Nb Sub R Saravanan (28.17), 3 Maj A Tripathi (37.03). fourth race: 1 Nk PJ Thomas (36.00), 2 Prakash A (37.17), 3 Ghanshyam (38.18).
