P Bhaskaran wins Symphony award

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 10 (UNI) Renowned Malayalam poet and lyricist P Bhaskaran has been selected for the first Symphony Television life time achivement award.

Prof O N V Kurup, Surya Krishna Moorthy and V Krishnakumar told reporters here today Symphony TV advisory committee Chairman poet O N V Kurup and Symphony director board Chairman J Alexander selected Bhaskaran Master for the award.

Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan would present the award, carrying a cash prize of Rs 50,001, citation and a plaque on August 14, they said.
