ONGC to revamp all existing surface facilities in Assam

New Delhi, Aug 10 (UNI) The public sector Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has drawn out a mega plan called " Assam Renewal project", the Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dinsha Patel saidin a written reply in the Lok Sabha.

Mr Patel said ONGC has informed that it will revamp all existing surface facilities of Assam Asset including revamping of the entire pipeline network and creation of new surfaces at Changmaigaon and Laiplinggaon fields. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 2500 crore.

ONGC had invited tenders on June 23 this yearwith completion schedule of three years from notice of award, Mr Patel added.
