No vigilance clearence for threee CMDS in PSEs

New Delhi, Aug 10 (UNI) The government today told the Lok Sabha that Vigilance clearance has not been given or withheld in cases of three candidates, included in the panels recommended by the Public Enterprises Selection Board for the selection of three posts.

These are; Chairman and Managing Director- National Mineral Development Corporation Ltd; CMD--National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd; and CMD-- Hooghly Dock&Port Engineers Ltd.

This was disclosed by Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Kanti Singh in a written reply.

''None of the canidates not having vigilance clearence was appointed to the respective posts in these Central Pubic Sector Enterprises,'' Ms Singh said.
