Nikkei declines as TDK falls to profit-taking

TOKYO, Aug 10 (Reuters) The Nikkei average fell 0.46 percent on Thursday, as continued concerns about a slowdown in the key U.S. market prompted investors to cash in recent winners such as TDK Corp. T> The Nikkei was down 56.87 points at 15,599.72 as of 0005 GMT.

The TOPIX index was down 0.22 percent at 1,574.98.
