Modern township project to come up at Ludhiana
Ludhiana, Aug 10 (UNI) Punjab's second township project, spread over an area of 200 acres, and offering state-of-the-art facilities will come up on the outskirts of this industrial city.
The project involving an expenditure of Rs 400 crore will be executed by Vipul World. It would an ideal housing project offering a perfect blend of modern infrastructure and elegant life style experience.
Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh today laid the foundation stone of this project with the commitment to turn Punjab as one of the major commercial centres of the country with world class infrastructure.
Mr Punit Beriwalan, Managing Director, Vipul World highlighted the various features of the new township and said it would provide the best facilities.
The first such township project, West End Estate is being executed in Mohali by Country Colonisers.
Speaking on the occasion Capt Singh said that 12 more such projects would be launched in a period of one month in the state.
The Chief Minister informed that the state government had so far approved 40 township and housing projects worth Rs 3500 crore.
He said that companies of national as well as international repute like Emmar, Ansals, DLF etc would also be commissioning their projects in the state.
