India Travel Mart expo in Jaipur from tomorrow

Jaipur, Aug 10 (UNI) Pink City Jaipur will host the international exhibition India Travel Mart (ITM) here from tomorrow to promote tourism in the state.

The Rajasthan tourism department are the main organisers along with Uttaranchal as the co-sponsorers. Malaysia and Dubai are the international partners in the expo. The exhibition will be on till August 13.

ITM director Ajay Gupta said the exhibition will provide a platform for the tourists to have direct interactions with tourist agents and companies. All those connected with tourism will get an opportunity to share their views about the industry in general.

Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar, Kumaon Garhwal, Indian Railways and Tourism Development Boards and tourism departments of many states are participating in the event apart from Star Cruise, DTCM.

Several big tourism companies will provide information about holiday packages, special honeymoon packages and ayurvedic attractions.

Mr Gupta said the exhibition has been timed for the benefit of the tourists who could plan their holidays well before the ensuing festival and holiday season.
