IMP Powers Ltd-power surges ahead
Mumbai, Aug 10: Industrial Meters Pvt (IMP) powers Ltd's net profit after tax has shot up to Rs 3.73 crore for the financial year ending June 30, 2006, showing a complete turnaround from the net loss of Rs 4.56 crore in the corresponding period ending June 30 last year.
IMP Power Ltd MD Mr Ajaykumar Dhoot told mediapersons, ''The company has reported a net turnover for the year at Rs 68.09 crore, showing a huge increase of 93 per cent from the corresponding period last year. Exports of the company has pole vaulted three times approximately at Rs 20.08 crore as compared to Rs 7.5 crore in the corresponding period this year, registering a rise of a whopping 168 per cent. The company has more than 110 crore orders in hand from corporate companies.
The company has posted earning per share (EPS) of Rs 7.62 in the current financial year. The company has acquired additional land in Silvassa for proposed backward integration project of the company in its Transformer Division. In a major expansion underway, the Kandivli plant of the company is being upgraded with state of art facilities to manufacture complete range of electronic analog and digital meters including Ammeter.''
