Gold, silver opens on bullish global advice

Mumbai, Aug 10: Values of spot silver and gold opened on good local demand in view of bullish global advice, according to traders at the bullion market today.

Following were today's opening spot rates : Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 19,385, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 9,825, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,870.
