Flood spare temple; rituals normal
Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 10 (UNI) Though Khammam was one of the worst flood-hit districts in Andhra Pradesh, the daily rituals in the ancient Ram temple in Bhadrachalam, here were being performed normally.
Temple authorities said except some low-lying areas in the temple town, flood waters had not entered anywhere. They said the quarters and choultries were open as usual and there was no disruption to power supply.
Fearing floods and getting stranded, the number of devotees visiting the temple had considerably gone down.
