Dhanalakshmi Bank to introduce new schemes
New Delhi, Aug 10: In a bid to double its number of customers during the current fiscal and retain the old ones, Dhanalakshmi Bank (DLB) is looking at drawing more schemes and products.
The bank will also ramp up its network across the country in the coming years and increase IT application.
''Our efforts are to increase the branch network, increased application of IT and launch of slew of products and services to meet the diversified needs of discerning customers all over India,'' said DLB Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer PS Prasad.
At present the bank has 200 fully digitalised branches spread in all major states and opeartes with 14,000 ATMs spread across the country.
The branch network will grow up phenominally in the coming years and very soon will be able to cover whole of India,'' DLB Executive Director VSR Murthy said.
The bank has launched a two-month 'Savings Festival. Dwelling on the details of festival, DLB Senior Manager V Raman said that there will be surprise prizes and incentives for the current and potential customers with current, savings, term deposits and NRE/FCRB accounts. The scheme will evenly focus on corporate and household, he added.
As on March 31, 2006, the bank's deposits stood at Rs 2532.67 crore.
