CM promises to revitalise ordinance factory
Sangareddy, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 10 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today assured the employees that he would make efforts to revitalise the ordinance factory in Yeddumailaram in Medak district.
Addresing a gathering after inaugurating 'One Day Two Lakh Plantation' programme in the premises of the ordinance factory, Dr Reddy expressed anguish that orders which were due to the factory were being diverted to other factory.
Students planted two lakh sapplings in Medak and Ranga Reddy districts as part of the programme organised by the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA).
Lauding HUDA for taking up plantation on such a massive scale, Dr Reddy pointed out that plantation was the only solution to overcome from the burgeoning pollution Ordinance factory employees submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA Thoorpu Jayaprakasha Reddy, urging him to strengthen the factory.
Dr Reddy had assured them that he would take up the matter with the Central government to bring back the prestine glory of the factory.
