Chhatrapati Shivaji airport gets new logo
Mumbai, Aug 10 (UNI) City's Chhatrapati Shivaji international airport (CSIA) today got a new identity with its logo being derived from a peacock feather, into which acronym CSIA has been woven.
Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd (MIAL), while unveiling the new brand identity symbol today, said in a statement issued here that peacock feather has been chosen as it represents India's rich heritage. The vibrant colour palette has been chosen to reflect the spirit, energy and dynamism of Mumbai, it added.
MIAL chairman G V Krishna Reddy said, ''Our vision is to make CSIA an excellent experience for travellers.'' MIAL Managing Director G V Sanjay Reddy said providing CSIA an identity of its own is a significant step towards showcasing it to the world in a contemporary Indian style.
