Celtic Princess claims Krishnaraja Wadiyar Trophy

Bangalore, Aug 10 (UNI) Punter's choice 'Celtic Princess' ridden by Imran Chisty claimed the Krishnaraja Wadiyar Trophy, the main event of the first extra day races held here today.

The winner is owned by Dr M A M Ramaswamy and trained by S Ganapathy.

Trainers R R Byramji and S Ganapathy saddled three and two winners respectively, while Jockey Shobhan Babu rode a double.

Punters had a mixed day with four favourites obliging them in a card of nine events.
